Vince Horiuchi: Breakdancing
America is full of overweight kids and dance is with out a doubt one of the best ways to get into shaped. I have been around for over 10 years and has won international competitions in France, New York, Montreal, and more. I have also performed at Kings games regularly and have danced for Talib Kweli, Dead Prez, Common, Africa Bambatta, Zion I, Mikuni Sushi, Run to Feed the Hungry, and a Stride for Breast Cancer. I wish to share my experiences with young people and create new ones for them.
America is also full of crime and troubled kids. I have seen case after case of kids that turn their lives around by picking up an interest such as dance. I am confident that if we continue what we are doing that we will improve the lives of everyone that supports. As seen in the past and in a number of nations overseas, by increasing culture among a society, positive effects in the economy and overall attitude of the population have occurred.
Breakdancing is not easy ... > Read moreso by teaching kids the basics we can ensure that no kid will get injured. My goal is to help kids achieve their goals no matter what they may be. This will better the lives of everyone in the world we live in.
